ARONNYOK !

ARONNYOK...

It is my dream , my oxygen , my space.

From 2002 I worked in a renowned NGO as a teacher. After completing studies when it was time for me start working I did not want to work just to earn money , but do something which at the end of the day will make me feel I have done something of worth and will bring a smile on my face before I fall off to sleep. Hence , when I got an opportunity to teach children in that NGO I was really happy . I taught there for 10yrs and have collected memories for a lifetime .  The children there gave me immense love, respect...they still do till day . I have learnt so much from them ,  much more than all my lessons in school or college , I have learnt lessons of life from them . I have seen the real world , the true India in them , through them . I had my son in 2004 , while I was associated with them , which again makes it a very special place and association . The other teachers , the students showered unparallel love on me and my son .  I grew up , I understood life more and better there . The journey continued till 2012 , then I left the NGO...for some personal , some professional reasons . A journey came to and end for another one to start .

It was in 2012 I started 'Aronnyok' . Colours always played an important role in my life , my father is a painter , an artist...unfortunately I did not inherit his talent nor did I practise but colours undoubtedly played an important role in my life and till day paints and brushes helps me calm down a lot , there is peace when you mix and match colours to make a different colour of your own . No other feelings can be compared to the feeling to creating someting new . I wanted a place where every morning I will look forward to go , will wait eagerly to be there and will feel upset to leave that place and believe me I am able to create such a place . Aronnyok , is my daily oxygen , I feel suffocated otherwise . I am in my most happy self when I am there . This space would not have been possible to build without the contribution , help , support of many people .  It is so impossible to built anything alone and there is absolute no joy in it too . My parents , my family , my friends , my customers all are equally responsible in building ARONNYOK , and it belongs to each and everyone as much as it belong to me.

In Aronnyok we weave , weave sarees...weave dress materials...weave stories . This space or this blog is to let everyone know about the stories that we weave at Aronnyok . Hope you will love the stories and the journey .
